The Theif Boy


The boy fixed his eyes to blink, and spied at staring candy;

He grinned a grin as his eyes did wink, and thievery came in handy-

The sleeves stretched and covered arms, as fingers they did reach;

And guided by his lucky charms, those candies were the feast-

The boy got dimples as he chewed; but then his body grew stiff-

When he realized, laxatives was what he chewed; a stench of horror he whiffed-

Poem’s Meaning: It addresses how stealing things or making bad decisions can lead to negative consequences
