The Sky That was Fell

Standard

A sky turned to fire, at the blink of an eye;

fire and thunder, combined into an light-

swords took up, like taking up arms;

and soldiers in the sky, fell ontop of cement hard-

each poniard like wood, splintered into shards-

And men after men, waged war with the sky;

the day it was to fell, itself, until died-

clouds pounded bricks, and crumbled mortar, and just like a tornado,

spiraling like a vortex were their every single borders;

kingdoms great and many, all faded with their orders-

inevitable was the sky that fell, and was felled into gravity’s embrace;

as carved into the impeccable blackened clouds, were the sculptures of a face..!
